3 Formulas? You people are so generous! How can I choose?
This is very much a question of personal preference, however all three formulas control odor for the majority of our clients. Here are a few notes for each formula:

Vegan Clay Formula.
Sexy Sadie, Lucy in the Sky, Johnny’s Cash, Nelson in Nelson
-
Original vegan formula (does not contain beeswax)
-
Consistency varies with temperature changes (becomes very soft in hot weather, hard in cold weather but is always effective)
-
Clay naturally absorbs sweat

Beeswax Formula.
Blackberry Betty, Maggie’s Citrus Farm, Bonnie n’ Clyde (unscented)
-
Consistency does not vary as beeswax acts as natural stabilizer (beeswax is from Alberta's own Nixon Honey)
-
Scented with edible, organic flavor oils
-
Great for pregnant and breast-feeding women
-
The ommision of clay lends itself to a sweet, less earthy scent

Clay & Beeswax Formula.
Like a Boss, Sweet Jane, Napoleon’s Dynamite, Bonita Applebom, A Girl Named Sue
-
Clay naturally absorbs sweat
-
Consistency does not vary as beeswax acts as stabilizer (beeswax is from Alberta's own Nixon Honey)
-
Creamiest consistency
-
Like a Boss: our mightiest formula yet
-
A Girl Named Sue: our sensitive skin formula (contains less baking soda)
I have sensitive skin.
The routine formula is without doubt potent and full of antibacterial ingredients. Although all of our ingredients are carefully formulated to proper dilution, virtually any of the ingredients could be an irritant to some people. Sometimes natural deodorants containing baking soda can cause people to develop a rash due to the baking soda being alkaline and throwing off the body's pH balance. For our clients with sensitive skin, we have developed a sensitive skin formula: A Girl Named Sue, with 40% less baking soda. We do encourage people to rub the product in gently. If you have experienced a reaction, we suggest you hold off on using that scent for a week or so, and then give it a try again. We also suggest people wash their armpits with warm water at the end of the day because often all that remains on the skin is baking soda which can be abrasive. We have a baking soda free version in the works, follow us on facebook and instagram to stay in the loop.
Email us if you have a rash and we'll send you a sensitive skin sample!

How much do I use?
With routine, less is more. We suggest trying a pea sized amount as this is adequate for the majority of people. Try this amount and increase or decrease based on how it works for you.

I'm on the stinkier side.
Choose like a boss - our newest, and strongest formula yet!

Use for children?
The three scents that we would recommend for kids are Bonnie n Clyde (unscented) Sweet Jane and Blackberry Betty - flavoured with organic, natural and delicious (they are even edible!) flavour oils. Our flavour oils come from Nature's Flavors based out of California, their website has great information: www.naturesflavors.com. These oils are the same products organic candies are flavoured with. A full list of ingredients can be found on our online store when you click on each scent.

I prefer unscented products.
Bonnie n Clyde is unscented with a slight hint of chocolate from organic cocoa butter.

I'm Pregnant/
Breastfeeding.
Blackberry Betty, Sweet Jane and Bonnie n Clyde (unscented) were formulated for pregnant and breastfeeding women, as they contain no essential oils. While we believe our other scents are most likely safe as all ingredients are researched, we recommend pregnant and breastfeeding women should contact their primary care provider before using any herb or essential oil.

Ingredients?
A full list of ingredients can be found on our online store - click on each scent and the full ingredient list, including essential oils and flavor oils, will appear.

I'm a heavy sweater.
Choose a scent in the clay (bird) or beeswax & clay (wolf) formula as the clay naturally absorbs sweat. You will still sweat a little as the clay is not bioavailable so it absorbs sweat topically, not into your body, but we think this is healthy!

Will you refill my jar?
We now have a recycling program with Goldgrass Home (formerly Riva's the Eco Store) in Calgary - bring your finished jar into the store to receive $1 off the purchase of a new jar!
We will have them sanatized and re-use them in manufacturing.
Its also fun to re-purpose the jars. It's a great little vessel for coconut oil as eye makeup remover or a tiny planter! They are also 100% recyclable.

What are flavor oils?
Several of our products are scented with organic, natural and delicious (they are even edible!) flavour oils. Our flavour oils come from Nature's Flavors based out of California, their website has great information: www.naturesflavors.com. These oils are the same products organic candies are flavoured with.

All 12 routine scents are gluten free.
I eat gluten-free.

I'm vegan.

Is your baking soda aluminum free?
Yes! Baking soda, also called sodium bicarbonate, (we use Bob's Red Mill) has never contained aluminum. It is baking powders that do sometimes contain aluminum, and thus labels should be read carefully when purchasing this product. Some brands have started labelling baking soda as aluminum free, however it is more of a marketing strategy. This has misled many people into thinking baking soda contains aluminum which is simply not true.
Choose Sexy Sadie, Lucy in the Sky, Nelson in Nelson or Johnny's Cash (all other scents contain beeswax). The beeswax we use is local and ethical from Nixon Honey in Innisfail, Alberta.
